Carnival - TOP NEWS, NOTES & FUN (April, 2019)

Know this: you’re about to get a quick roundup of fun stuff that just happened — plus what’s still to come. Now this is news you can use to cruise!

#1 HERE'S WHAT'S NEW ON MARDI GRAS

The ship’s going to be amazing when it sets sail in 2020, but what never-before-seen experiences can you expect on Mardi Gras? Let’s see… we’ve got an Emeril restaurant on board featuring some of his favorite Creole dishes, while there’s Family Feud Live action up on stage featuring folks like you.

#2 GET UP CLOSE AND INSIDE CARNIVAL PANORAMA

The next new ship in line is Carnival Panorama — we’re building it now, but we’re (virtually) ready to let you to fly though its promenades, bars, restaurants, entertainment spaces, comfy balcony staterooms and more. This ship is going to make West Coast cruising even more incredible!

#3 IT'S ALMOST SUNRISE TIME

We’re transforming fan-fave Carnival Triumph into a whole new ship… and the name alone is enough to suggest the new beginning that’s about to happen: it’s Carnival Sunrise! Look for a new dawn of vacation awesomeness with some of our latest dining spots, bars and pubs, sports activities, spa and more.

#4 BOOK FORWARD TO FALL

Look outside and you’ll see that we’re springing into summer — and this part of the year happens to be primetime for planning a fall vacation. Booking early isn’t just going to get you great prices, but an amazing selection of staterooms, destinations and dates.

#5 EXPLORE ALASKA THIS SUMMER

If you are looking for the best answer to "what you did on your summer vacation"… you can say you explored Alaska. Cruising season up there kicks off in April, and a Carnival cruise is an amazing way to check out some of Alaska’s finest coastal cities, plus glaciers and fjords in between!

#6 EVEN MORE WAYS TO SEE EUROPE

Europe’s one amazing place to explore, but we have two great ways to do it: you can cruise the laid-back Mediterranean and countries like Italy, Spain and France; or chill alongside the great glaciers of Norway. And in case you were looking for a truly incredible ship to get you there, we just added more Europe sailings for Mardi Gras!

#7 WE'VE MADE SEEING CUBA EASIER

What do you think these seven departure ports that can get you to Cuba have in common? Oh no… we gave away the surprise! Anyway, they are: Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Norfolk, Tampa, Charleston, Port Canaveral and New York, and every single one is a great way to visit the history-packed traveler’s jewel of Havana.

#8 IT'S HALLOWEEN HALFTIME

Halfoween is upon us. Yes, you heard us right — this new-ish spring tradition isn’t just a random good time, but a great reminder that we’re about six months away from Halloween. That makes now the perfect time to plan a spooky-fun cruise for October, packed with costumes, activities, tricks, treats and more!

 #9 WE APPRECIATE THE TROOPS

At Carnival, we prove it with military discounts on cruise fare… but it doesn’t end there! Whether you are active or retired, you can come out and join us at the Military Appreciation Gathering — held on absolutely every cruise — where we honor the courage and commitment made by soldiers and of course, their families.

#10 GREAT PORT? CHECK. AWE SHIP? CHECK.

It’s easy to fit a shorter cruise into you schedule… and such an easy decision when the ship’s so awesome! Starting in May, Carnival Dream will be sailing from Galveston on 4- and 5-day cruises to some of the best spots in the Western Caribbean.
